about
Swing Low Sweet Chariot was an American gospel song first recorded in 1909, but written in the late 1800s. This song is special to me because my mother used to sing it to me when I was a little girl.
This reimagined cover is very different from the hymn and gospel roots, and I hope that it is a nice, pleasing chillout version for you all <3.
God bless you all.
lyrics
Swing low
Sweet chariot
Come’n for (me)
Carry me home
Swing low
Sweet chariot
Come’n for t'carry me home
Verse:
I look o’er Jordan,
And what do I see?
But a band full of angels
Come’n after me
Well if
You get there before I do
Tell all my friends I’m come’n too
The brightest day
That I can say
When Jesus washed
My sin away
Sometimes I’m up
And others down
But oh my soul
is heaven bound
